These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in and access to the Equity Learning Conference (“Conference”) offered by LeanWithPrejudice.com (“we,” “our,” or “us”) via Zoom or any affiliated video conferencing platform. By registering for the Conference, you (“Subscriber,” “you,” or “participant”) agree to abide by these Terms in full.
1. Eligibility
To register, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By subscribing, you affirm that all information provided is accurate and current.
2. Conference Access
Upon successful registration and payment, you will receive confirmation and a secure Zoom link to attend the scheduled session(s). You are solely responsible for ensuring internet connectivity and access to the required software or device to participate.
3. Scope and Purpose
The Conference is designed as an educational platform to introduce, discuss, and examine legal, historical, and procedural remedies available in equity law. All information is presented for general knowledge and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
4. Sales and Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
There will be no refunds, transfers, or credits issued once registration is completed. It is the subscriber’s responsibility to verify availability and readiness to participate at the scheduled time.
5. Code of Conduct
Participants agree to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow attendees. Disruptive behavior, including but not limited to harassment, hate speech, or unauthorized recording, may result in removal from the Conference without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials shared during the Conference, including recordings, slides, documents, or verbal teachings, are the intellectual property of LeanWithPrejudice.com and/or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use such materials beyond personal, non-commercial educational purposes without express written permission.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
While we endeavor to safeguard attendee information, the Zoom platform and third-party services may retain metadata or usage information. By participating, you consent to this as outlined in Zoom’s own terms and privacy policy. Recording by attendees is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized.
8. Modifications and Cancellation
We reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or modify the Conference, including speaker changes or agenda adjustments, without prior notice. In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered, but no refunds will be issued.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
Your participation is voluntary and at your own risk. We disclaim any liability for any loss, damage, or misunderstanding arising from your reliance on information provided during the Conference.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Equity of [Any State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of said jurisdiction.
11. Acceptance
By checking the registration box, completing payment, or attending the Conference, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
